Introduction

Everybody has experienced stress and everybody still does. It can be the most troubling thing in many people’s lives, especially those who are adolescents. Growing pains, teenage angst, and other tumultuous occurrences all contribute to the daily interaction that adolescents have with stress. In many respects, worrying about one’s appearance is the stressful problem for young adults. Whether it is acne, physical development, weight issues, or anything else, appearance related stress is a major concern and problem among adolescents.

STRESS- the response of individuals to stressors, which are circumstances and events that threaten and tax their coping abilities.

  2. Increased arguments with parents
  3. Trouble with brother or sister
  4. Increased arguments between parents
  5. Change in parents' financial status
  6. Serious illness or injury of family member
  7. Trouble with classmates
